The Redwood trees were spectacular! They were so tall and huge! They are the tallest trees in the world.
We saw some wild elk on the side of the road. They were pretty huge.
The next day we went over to Fern Canyon. It was rainy that day, and it felt like we were in a rainforest. It was really cool!

Happy 13th Birthday, George!!
Saturday, my family and I went to the zoo in Oregon with my aunt and uncle. I enjoyed the lovely weather and all the animals I got to see! My favorite animals that I saw were the sea otters and the flamingos. The sea otters are cute and fun to watch and the flamingos are pink(‘Nuff said). 🙂

On Sunday we took a trip to Portland! We went to Powell’s Books, had lunch at a vegan restaurant called Canteen, and went over to the airport. It was a nice Father’s day. 🙂
Monday we headed to the coast. We went over to Cannon Beach! It was cute little town full of shops and restaurants. The beach was windy but nice, and I got a new pair of Toms at a surf shop! We also visited a lovely town called Astoria, and visited a replica of Fort Clatsop. It was a great day! 🙂

Idaho
Welcome to Idaho, eating ice cream at Dairy Queen on Caleb’s birthday, and playing on the playground with George at Wolf Lodge Campground.
Washington
We visited Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park and Mt. St. Helens National Monument, we made yummy s’mores, and went kayaking! 🙂
Oregon…so far…
We went to Multnomah Falls with my Aunt Barb and my cousin Matt, ate lunch at Taco Time, and had a little truck trouble.
Here is what I’ve been doing this week:
Sunday: We went to Two Medicine in East Glacier Park!
Monday: We headed over to the Hungry Horse dam, and a couple of antique stores! (And yes that is a real squirrel!)
Wednesday: We had a picnic by Flathead Lake! 🙂

My family and I are almost done with packing! Saturday, we start our journey up to Montana. I can’t wait to start this next chapter in my life. For the next couple of days, I will be scrambling around the house cleaning and packing. To keep my self motivated, I listen to one of my favorite songs by the Muppets!! 🙂
